Who Has The Cheapest Auto Insurance?

So Which Profession Gets The Cheapest Auto Insurance?

// Note this is a partnership post with autoinsurancemonkey.com!

Anyone who has had the good fortune to talk to me about car insurance will know how much of a fan I am of getting quotes related to my profession.

Not really a very big fan at all. I actually don’t really see why your job has to come into it at all. Guess what guys? You can have a sensible job and still park your vehicle next door to a known drug den every night. The two aren’t mutually exclusive.

But anyway. Here are some of the best and some of the worst professions when it comes to getting cheap car insurance.

The best

Police Officers

The profession where your success in catching criminals is often dependent on disregarding a lot of the rules of the road. You know, the rules that are meant to keep us safe from claiming on our insurance.

Pilots

Those people that have spent many many years learning to manoeuvre a vehicle through the air where traffic lights, pedestrians, and other vehicles don’t exist. Cool.

Actors and actresses

Are you kidding me??? Do car insurance companies not read gossip magazines? Can you even say you work in entertainment if you don’t have a few DUI’s?

Nurses

Those people that routinely work tirelessly through the night and are generally acknowledged to be constantly sleep deprived.

The worst

Builders

This is definitely the lowest stress job on the list. But I get it I suppose. A brick might fall on your car.

Lawyers

Probably one of the few categories of people that actually know all of the traffic laws. Who knew driving barefoot was a crime? I didn’t!

Business owners/ executives

Probably aren’t driving to as many dodgy areas late at night as your average actor.

Social workers

OK, I accept this one. Social work is a high-stress job. And it does require driving in some pretty unsavoury areas.

Let us know what you think of our list of who has the cheapest auto insurance? Agree or disagree! Next week will have an article on no deposit car insurance, get excited!

New Partnership with Autoinsurancemonkey.com

Hello guy’s and girls great news! I’m happy to say we’ve partnered with autoinsurancemonkey.com.

Autoinsurancemonkey helps people find cheap auto insurance in states from Alaska to Texas.

This partnership came about because a friend of my happens to work their and a few drinks in we started talking about monkey’s. ( I have weird friends)

Good news for me and the tarsiers though. Autoinsurancemonkey will be giving up to $2,000 a year for conservation efforts (talks still in works, so nothing set in stone).

Hopefully if everything goes well we can have the amount increased 🙂

But I’m happy about the progress made so far. Just wanted to let everyone know. Also if you need car insurance and live in the U.S check them out please!

Cheers

Found someone to create videos + SEO

Like you guys know, I’ve talked about promoting philiphine tarsier with Youtube, but I had trouble understanding YouTube SEO and getting footage.

Well I’ve solved both problems! Someone emailed me free footage that I could use, and my friend that sent me the link in the last post knows a great SEO that will help me out for FREE!

I really lucked out, since he’s a nature lover and has some spare time. Since he’s only doing SEO for one video it shouldn’t take too long. Hopefully I’ll be able to learn the basics, by seeing what he does.

What’s funny is that he does seo for chiropractors, so him doing SEO for monkeys is hilarious!

Anyway, my video should be up soon! Will let you guys know when it’s live so you can like and share.

P.S here’s his website if you’d like to hire him: savedbysearch.com

Using YouTube to promote my cause

I was thinking of creating some videos to promote philippine tarsiers, but have zero ideas on how to go about this.

My friend sent me an interesting link on YouTube SEO. It was a good read, and looking into it I realized two things:

  1. Making a YouTube channel is a lot of work. Which I don’t have much time for at the moment
  2. Videos about Tarsiers while interesting aren’t going to get a lot of views.

I’m still not sure if I should make some videos or not. I do personally think the videos will do well, but I don’t have proper footage for YouTube.

If someone has some footage I could use for FREE, I’d be happy to create a video. If you have some footage and would like to work with me on this please email me at :Jon@philippinetarsier.org

Cheers,

Jon
